How this is built

Aggregated. De-identified. No pricing. Ever.

PartsCheck Labs is the research imprint of PartsCheck, Australia’s largest parts procurement platform for collision repair. This is a summary of the standing rules. Full methodology is published inside every edition.

Scope
Parts ordered through PartsCheck by participating Australian repairers and suppliers, July 2021 to June 2026. Aggregated and de-identified throughout.
Identification
No repairer, supplier or insurer is identified anywhere, ever. Vehicle makes may be named: they’re a public fact about the fleet. Nothing else may be.
Pricing
No pricing is published. No list prices, no paid prices, no discounts, no win rates, no per-supplier comparison. This is a hard rule, not a default.
Volume floors
A growth figure is only published for a part type or make that cleared 5,000 ordered lines in both comparison windows. Outlier screening is applied throughout.
Coverage
A repair job appears only if at least one part was ordered for it through PartsCheck. Labour-only repairs aren’t counted, so this isn’t every repair in Australia. Tesla is not included: PartsCheck has no visibility of the parts quoted on that brand.

Availability figures, where they appear, are a supplier’s own assertion at quote time that a part was in stock: not verified fulfilment, not delivery, not fill rate, and never a measure of any supplier’s performance.
