How this is built

Aggregated. De-identified. Nothing traced back.

PartsCheck Labs publishes aggregated, de-identified findings from the PartsCheck platform. This is the first edition. These are the rules it is built on, and the full method is set out at the back of the report.

Scope
Edition 01 covers parts ordered through PartsCheck by participating Australian repairers and suppliers between July 2021 and June 2026, aggregated to national totals and de-identified throughout.
Identification
No repairer, supplier or insurer is identified anywhere in Labs, and nothing in it can be traced back to one. Vehicle makes are named because they are a public fact about the fleet.
Pricing
There is no pricing of any kind in Labs. No list prices, no paid prices, no discounts, no win rates, no individual quotes or purchase orders, and no comparison between one business and another.
Volume floors
A growth or availability figure for a part type or make is published only where it cleared 5,000 ordered lines, or 5,000 quote requests for availability, in both comparison windows. That is because a small category can double on a hundred parts nationally, and because a thin category is where a single business could start to show through. Small categories are left out rather than shown.
Coverage
A repair job appears only if at least one part was ordered for it through PartsCheck. Labour-only repairs aren’t counted, so this isn’t every repair in Australia. Tesla is not included, because PartsCheck has no visibility of the parts quoted on that brand.
Your data
Your quotes, your orders, your volumes and your prices never leave the platform. Everything PartsCheck shares is aggregated, and none of it can be traced back to a repairer or supplier, in line with our platform terms.

Availability figures, where they appear, are a supplier’s own statement at quote time that a part was in stock. They are not a record of whether the part arrived or how long it took, and never a measure of any individual supplier. Data is taken as entered and not independently verified. Labs is published for general information and is not advice. See Using this report, and the platform terms at partscheck.com.au/global/terms.php.
